It Is Possible to Heal the Body with the Mind
It Is Possible to Heal the Body with the Mind, and There Is Scientific Proof to This

The mind is the control center of the human being, even more so than you know. The mind can make decisions, learn new things and feel emotions — it can also heal the body. You heard it right, the mind can completely and utterly destroy all signs of disease from the body.

One of the worst things to hear from your doctor is that you have a serious illness. The plans will be altered and your life will now revolve around treatments and medications, right? In most cases, this scenario proves to be true. In those few cases, this couldn’t be further from fact, especially if you know how to think correctly.

In case you didn’t know, and chances are, you didn’t, you can heal yourself with thought alone. The myths of this aren’t myths at all. There is proof to this idea.

A few weeks ago BBC made a fraudulent copyright claim against my most watched Veritas Flat Earth interview getting it blocked worldwide. This week BBC and Videojug have both made similar fraudulent claims against Part 2 of that same Veritas interview resulting in it being blocked worldwide (for a 20 second video of the Challenger blowing up). This clip is still available in many other less popular videos of mine, and clearly falls under YT fair-use policy, but once again they will apparently do whatever it takes to get my most popular videos taken down. Experiments to do at Home! 14 DIY Science Experiment Ideas for Kids!
Experiments to do at home – DIY science experiment ideas for kids! In this video I show 14 experiments to do at home, which are perfect DIY science experiments for kids, children and everyone else. These experiment ideas are easy and perfect sensory experiments you can do at home with water and other household items – very affordable! I show how to become a scientist at home, tutorial perfect for beginners in experiment science.

Help me translate this DIY Experiments video: timedtext_video?v=DMETc1oTfIE

First DIY science experiment to do at home is milk galaxy! An easy experiment for kids and school using only household items. All you need for a magical galaxy on a plate is hole milk, food coloring and dish soap. This Experiment is so easy and affordable but super fascinating to watch! Children will love it!

Let's make cute DIY banana messages! All you need is a toothpick and you can make drawings on bananas. What an epic DIY life hack.

One of my favorite experiments to do at home is a DIY lava lamp experiment. You need oil, water, food coloring plus a fizz tablet and you can enjoy such an epic and mesmerizing bubble show! This is a great experiment for kids, children but also adults! A great experiment for a school project as well – all your classmates will be impressed.

An epic edible experiment plus a DIY prank is edible glass aka DIY lollipop. Prank your friends making them believe that you can eat glass ;) This lollipop looks exactly like glass but tastes amazing.

Amazing volcanic eruptions are definitely a hit with kids. To make these cool sensory experiments you need baking soda, food coloring and vinegar. Another one of my favorite experiments to do at home and amazing experiment for kids.

We must also make some water experiments! In this DIY science experiments video I made two. First one is skittles water experiment. Watch how the skittles will color the water making a beautiful colored display.

Second experiment with water is instant ice! With this amazing water experiment I show you how to freeze ice in seconds. Put a bottle of distilled water in the freezer for about 2 hours and 20 minutes. Now you can grow real ice mountains in front of your eyes.

One of my favorite edible experiments are rainbow spaghetti. This experiment is easy to make, you only need food coloring in rainbow shades. Yummy!

Some liquids don't mix but they rather float on top of each other due to density. I show a cool DIY density experiment. Children will love making this density tower – definitely an experiment to try at home! When your density tower is built, throw in a fizz tablet and enjoy the show!

Time for a cool glow in the dark experiment which doubles up as a delicious treat. Tonic water contains quinine, which glows under the UV light. I decided to make popsicles using tonic water and I also added some gummy bears to make them even more delicious. Another DIY glow in the dark experiment is slime or oobleck using only two ingredients. Mix cornstarch with water and enjoy this satisfying magical slime which transforms from solid to liquid.

Did you know that you can make your very own rainbow sand at home using rice, vinegar and food coloring! Yup, this is such an easy and cool experiment for kids and adults :) You can use your rainbow sand to play or as a room decor. Put it in a vase and decorate your room with it!

Let's make some lemon volcanoes! This is an epic science experiment to do at home using household items. Children will be impressed for sure. Things you will need are a lemon, baking soda and optionally food coloring plus dish soap. What an affordable and easy science experiment!

In the video I also show you a melting experiment which shows that some materials and objects change from solid to liquid or even gas when heated. We're making edible chocolate bowls using balloons. They are perfect for parties since you can decorate them to fit any theme – valentines, Halloween, Easter...

Hope you enjoy these easy science experiments to do at home and let me know in the comments which of these experiment ideas is your favorite.

ESOcast 87: Planet found around closest Star
This is the ESOcast that no viewer will want to miss. We discuss the result of the quest to find a planet around the closest star to the Solar System.

The Pale Red Dot campaign aimed to find a planet orbiting our nearest stellar neighbour, Proxima Centauri. Incredibly, the quest succeeded and the team did indeed find a planet. Even more excitingly, the planet, Proxima b,  falls within the habitable zone of its host star. The newly discovered Proxima b is by far the closest potential abode for alien life.

In this ESOcast, the results of this groundbreaking research are explained in detail, providing insights into the following points:

* The extensive verification process the team went through to ensure this result was accurate.
* The factors for and against the possibility of life on Proxima b.
* The nature of a “habitable zone” around a star.

The discovery of Proxima b is a major science result, making this ESOcast a must for those of you curious about one of the most intriguing questions in astronomy — “are we alone?”

The Renaissance: Was it a Thing? - Crash Course World History #22
In which John Green teaches you about the European Renaissance. European learning changed the world in the 15th and 16th century, but was it a cultural revolution, or an evolution? We'd argue that any cultural shift that occurs over a couple of hundred years isn't too overwhelming to the people who live through it. In retrospect though, the cultural bloom in Europe during this time was pretty impressive. In addition to investigating what caused the Renaissance and who benefitted from the changes that occurred, John will tell you just how the Ninja Turtles got mixed up in all this.

The Choice is Ours (2016) Official Full Version

Intro: 0:00
Part 1 6:16
Part 2 23:28
Part 3 47:03
Part 4 1:19:09

Produced/Directed by Roxanne Meadows and Joel Holt
Script by Roxanne Meadows
Editor Joel Holt, assisted by Roxanne Meadows & Nathaniel Dinwiddie
Original Score by Kat Apple

This film series explores many aspects of our society. To rethink what is possible in our world, we need to consider what kind of world we want to live in. Although we refer to it as a civilization, it is anything but civilized. Visions of global unity & fellowship have long inspired humanity, yet the social arrangements up to the present have largely failed to produce a peaceful and productive world. While we appear to be technically advanced, our values and behaviors are not. The possibility of an optimistic future is in stark contrast to our current social, economic, and environmental dilemmas. The Choice Is Ours includes interviews with notable scientists, media professionals, authors, and other thinkers exploring the difficulties we face.

Part I provides an introduction and overview of cultural & environmental conditions that are untenable for a sustainable world civilization. It explores the determinants of behavior to dispel the myth of “human nature” while demonstrating how environment shapes behavior. The science of behavior is an important - yet largely missing - ingredient in our culture.

Part II questions the values, behaviors, and consequences of our social structures, and illustrates how our global monetary system is obsolete and increasingly insufficient to meet the needs of most people. Critical consideration of the banking, media, and criminal justice systems reveals these institutions for what they really are: tools of social control managed by the established political and economic elite. If we stay the present course, the familiar cycles of crime, economic booms & busts, war, and further environmental destruction are inevitable.

Part III explains the methods and potential of science. It proposes solutions that we can apply at present to eliminate the use of non-renewable sources of energy. It depicts the vision of The Venus Project to build an entirely new world from the ground up, a “redesign of the culture”, where all enjoy a high standard of living, free of servitude and debt, while also protecting the environment.

Part IV explains how it is not just architecture and a social structure that is in desperate need of change, but our values which have been handed down from centuries ago. They too need to be updated to our technological age, which has the potential to eliminate our scarcity-driven societies of today. Our problems are mostly of our own making, but we can still turn things around before the point of no return. It’s not too late for an optimistic outlook on the fantastic possibilities that lie before us.

*special thanks also to Alexander "Obraz" who created the many 2d motion depictions (plus the sound fx!) of concepts such as the "hamburgers and fried chicken" segment and many others which are Alexander's inimitable work style and attention to details where we needed very specific illustrations of key points.

The Venus Project proposes an alternative vision of what the future can be if we apply what we already know in order to achieve a sustainable new world civilization. It calls for a straightforward redesign of our culture in which the age-old inadequacies of war, poverty, hunger, debt and unnecessary human suffering are viewed not only as avoidable but as totally unacceptable. Anything less will result in a continuation of the same catalog of problems inherent in today's world.
